1.掌握四会单词tall,taller ,old ,older, young .younger.
2. 掌握三会单词和词组twin, minutes, child ,also, chat, go for a walk.
3. 能听懂会说句型Are you as tall as your ......? Su Yang's twenty minutes than me ,.
4.能正确运用对话中出现的日常交际用语交流。

1.能正确理解、掌握四会单词并能听懂会说句型Are you as tall as your ......? Su Yang's twenty minutes than me。
2.掌握本课中的重点句型并能在情景中运用。

A Sing a song. 跟录音机边听边学唱英文歌曲I wish I was taller.
B Free talk. 师生交流

T: Who’s taller than xxx?
S1: xxx is.
T: Whose eyes are bigger, yours or mine?
S2: Yours are.

C Presentation and drill新授和操练
1.老师顺着学生的回答说,Yes, I’m older, I’m 14 years older than her. And she is 14 years younger than me.
2.学生理解后板书句子领读.
3.T: Do you know SuHai and SuYang? Yes,they’re twins.
板书twin 并教学。
4.Now guess: Who’s older ,HuYang or SuHai? 由问题引出词组twenty minutes younger和句子SuYang’s twenty minutes younger than SUHai.
领读句子并操练。
5.老师问一学生:Do you have any brothers or sisters? 顺着学生的回答老师引出句子Do you look the same? Are you as tall as your …?和 You’re the only child in your family.
板书句型,齐读。
D Practice and consolidation练习和巩固
1 师直接导入课文第一节,让学生听录音并根据录音内容回答问题。
2 让学生模仿跟读录音。
3 学生小组活动,每人接龙说一个比较级的句子,I'm older than you(him,her ) . I'm taller than you . I'm younger than you 。
4.学生尝试表演课文内容。
六 布置作业:
1. 听本课A部分的录音,要求学生跟读、读熟,并能够和同学比身高和年龄。
2. 调查班级同学的年龄和身高
